BYU Game

This past weekend was a fun family weekend for both Brian and me. Brian's brother Mike was up for the week on business but found plenty of time to visit family. We have missed Mike and Mel tons since they have moved so it was so good to see Mike for a few days. He didn't help with the missing part for Brian though because Brian had so much fun hanging out with Mike that he is even more sad that they don't live here anymore.

It was the annual Marchant family BYU game. Andy (my oldest brother) started this tradition quite a few years ago and it is definately one of the highlights of the year. We always go to Brick Oven (yuuuummmmm) and then the game. There are always very classic moments that happen at the games that create traditions for the next year. I know some of my siblings got some really good video of some of those moments so you'll all have to blog hop and check them out. Natalie couldn't come this year :0( so Andy brought "baby Brian" (this nickname is really outdated). It was fun to start including kids in the tradition. It is quite possible that Adin will be attending BYU games with us before Meg. I just don't know how interested Meg would be. Here are a few pics from the game.

You can see the excitement on Brian's face.
Charisse and Kory wouldn't stop making out the whole game (sheesh newlyweds, well, sort of)

Brian came and sat with us for the 3rd quarter. Brian's brothers all got tickets to the game this year too since Mike was in town.
This video cracks me up. If I didn't stand up after each touchdown, then this was my view. Hee Hee.
It was a lot of fun to see both of our families this past weekend. We both have such great families. We are very blessed.

Mike said he had so much with everyone. I wish I could have come but am also glad I didn't because I know I would have just come back here depressed and missing everyone back home. Sorry about Adin's fingers. Hate those moments. Not fun. If it makes you feel any better, I had to take both the kids to their well checkups on Monday and ended up spending two hours there. Exams, peeing in cups, hearing, vision exams, and of course- lots of shots. Makenzie had to get 5. Tyler had to get 2. I hate that part- holding them down while they panic and then they look at you afterwards like the traitor you are for letting someone hurt them. :( Atleast we won't have that again for another year. Miss you!
