This week has been fairly uneventful. Meg has had one of those weeks where nothing usual was good enough. She didn't want to color, do puzzles, watch movies or even ride bikes. She wanted to be entertained. She really needs a little friend that has the energy that she has. On Monday she begged and begged for me to make her a mermaid costume. I spent the morning creating a mermaid costume. I made it so that she could either put her legs in the fin or have them out so that she could walk. After it was finished, she wanted me to sew up the leg hole so that she was squished into the costume. She spent the next couple days scooting around the house as a mermaid.

I don't know why but I never posted about our pet catapillar. We found it when we went on our hike to the waterfall. It was this super fuzzy, black and orange catapillar that ate TONS and TONS of dandelions and pooed a lot. Brian and Meg had it as their little project. It built a cacoon and came out on Wednesday. This is a picture of how he looked. At midnight, Brian looked up on the internet about if we needed to do anything next. He found out that we were supposed to realease it very soon after it came out. So about 12:30 am, we woke Meg up and went outside to let our butterfly go.

This is just a picture of a suncatcher craft that Meg and I made. She was really pressuring me to be creative and come up with some new things to do. She loved making this.

Adin got really sick about a week ago. He threw up all over the car and had super high fevers. For about 4 days, he was weak and misreable. He just layed on the floor in the front room and then would have me take him up for naps (he would literally point to the upstairs). It was heartbreaking. He wouldn't eat anything and would barely drink. We had to keep Motrin in him steady or his fever would skyrocket. Finally on Thursday he started acting more normal and Friday he was back to full speed. He did need to catch up for not eating and in ONE day he completely cleaned out the fridge and cupboards. Thankfully and by some miracle, noone else got the bug. This picture is of his slightly better day. He picked out all these clothes and insisted I put them on. He was very adament about the socks and would refuse a matching pair. Whatever made him happy he was going to get.

That's just a few tidbits of our week. I hope all was well for all of you. Everyone update your blogs, I love to see new things!

Love the new posts. YOur kids are adorable. I wish I was a better mom and did projects like the mermaid and the suncatcher. I just don't have the time anymore. You're superwoman!
I know what you mean about kids wanting to be entertained. Whatever happened to kids just playing with their toys? Tyler is always saying he is sooo bored and there is absolutely nothing to do. It drives me nuts sometimes!!Tomorrow is moving day- will call you sometime later this week.
Adin looks awesome in his robe. He cracks me up!
I agree I love Adin's robe. That mermaid costume was very cute, Your sewing skills are amazing. My kids are always dressing up too. I don't even know why we buy normal clothers.
