Well...I promised Charisse to update my blog every week, but this week has been very uneventful. They are pouding Brian into the ground at work. It seems like if they get a hard case that someone else can't handle they give it to Brian. His most recent case was given to him because the girl who had it before was too scared of her client to work with him anymore. Yikes! It seems like he is in court at least three times a week. He says the hardest part of his job is being yelled at all day long by clients and just having to take it. We will both be very relieved when he is done working there.

On the bright side he has also started saying "Love you" He says it to me every night before I put him to bed and he said it to Brian for the first time today when he left for work. It is so sweet. Notice my little poser/dancer in the background of these pictures. She cracks me up. After I took these pictures and a couple more she wanted to see them on the camera. She looked at them and said "Oh, that's so sweet, isn't it mom?"
I was just about to type that hopefully I would have more to say next time, but I guess there is something to say for uneventfulness.
Then on Saturday we drove down to Springville again. This time it was for the annual Droubay Easter egg hunt. This is always one of my favorite events of the year. It was hard this year because I needed to help Adin and I put Brian in charge of the camera so that left Meg off to do it by herself which she did quite well. By the time I finished with Adin Meg had an overflowing basket of eggs and I missed seeing her find them all. It's hard to split your attention. Adin got the hang of all of it very quickly and loved to plop his eggs into his bucket.

We decided to start a new tradition as a family of an Easter picnic. It didn't work to well this year because the kids were more interested in playing than eating. It was fun to spend time together though.
After Adin went to bed, Meg and I colored Easter eggs. She had fun, but thinks that she really needs to eat them all now. I keep explaining that they are no different on the inside than regular eggs that she has eaten in the past, but she thinks that they will somehow be more special since they are Easter eggs.

This is actually during the fashion show. I was video taping and I had the lady sitting next to me snap a picture. That is why it is kind of blurry and cut Meg off. It's still fun to see her in the actual show.
