Love Adin. At least you can record moments like this. Cooper broke our camera a few months ago and I cannot bear to go and spend how ever much it is to get a new one.
Meg told me that when she grew up to be a mommy she wanted to get married to daddy. I told her that was a great idea. She looked very thoughtful for a few seconds and then said, "But if I marry Daddy, where will you and Adin live?"
Brian made us smoothies last Sunday. Meg was sitting on the counter eating hers. Brian was chatting with her. Meg took a big swallow and said "Mmmmm, this is the life"
As we started a trip of errands, Meg asked how many stores we were going to. I proceeded to tell her the list. After I was done, she said, "Mommy, you talk a lot." When she saw the look of shock on my face she said, "It's okay, I talk a lot too because we are girls." Even more shocked, I asked her who told her that girls talk a lot. She said that she just knows that. I talked to Brian later and he said he never told her that either.
While learning the song I am a Child of God she would always sing "and he has sent me ears"
After learning the song I am a Child of God she turned to Brian and sang "I am a child of Brian"
I can't throw this in the garbage because my legs are so tired.
I was blowing up balloons for Adin and Meg wanted to help. She would blow with all her might and nothing would happen. Finally she handed it to me and said, "Mom, can you give me a hand with this." She talks like she is so much bigger than 3.
Brian asked Meg how her cough was, and she said "It's not going so well." Correct grammer and everything. That is thanks to Brian.
In response to my very detailed explanation of the events of Adin's birthday and how the day would go, Meg said "Hmmm, that's interesting." I don't know where she gets these sayings.
"Hurry, mommy, come look in the potty. I had a snake poopy." (This was all made up in her mind, Brian and I did nothing to provoke this. I was shocked.)
