I haven't posted FOREVER! I am sorry, we have just been so busy. Between Brian and I, we work around 80 hours a week. We switch off kids at 5-6 and literally switch cars as I tell Brian what the kids need to do before bed. In the daytime, I am frantically working on home repairs trying to get our place ready to put up for sale. We really wanted to get it up for sale around the time BYU got out. We figure our best chance to sale (if there is any chance at all) will be the end of the summer, but we want to get it up soon just in case. It's been a frustrating process because while I am busy working on repairing walls or painting, the kids are demolishing the house. Then I spend hours repairing what they did. It's just been crazy and I am ready just have this dang place up for sale and go back to my normal routine. We have made tons of changes. I'll post pics in my next post.
On top of that Adin, was ready to potty train. I started getting the idea that I needed to either do it now or wait till the fall. On somewhat of an impulse, I bought him a pack of big boy underwear at the store and he refused to put his diaper on again. Not to bore you with potty talk, but he is super good at peeing. He was sooo much easier than Meg. He always tells me at the store if he needs to go so I am not cooped up all day at home like I was with Meg. He has been really good. Pooing is a completely different story, but Meg took longer on that too. We started with treats everytime he would pee so I am sure that I will have a cavity to pay for this training. Now he doesn't want the treats anymore so we are on the right track.

A few days before easter we dyed eggs as a family. This year I was smart and we only did about a dozen.
Adin loved it even though he totally didn't get why we were doing it.

Meg is my little artist in every way. I love that about her. She spend a lot of time perfecting her eggs and was at the counter much after everyone else was done.
That says 7 years. It was our 7 year anniversary the day before easter. I cannot believe we are that old!
Adin knew that we were dyeing eggs so as soon as he would finish getting the dye on, he was sure that he was supposed to eat the egg. He just kept on begging to "eat it now?" Finally I just peeled an egg and let him eat it. Kids are so funny!Easter was fun. We went up to Ogden for Brian's good friend Karl's mission homecoming. After that we went to Brigham for the rest of the day. As crazy as living in Ogden was, there are many things that we miss about it.
Here is Adin in his easter clothes.
Meg in her Easter dress. She is at one of those stages where I cannot get her to smile normally. WHY WON'T YOU SMILE?????!!!! Here are my many attempts. I finally gave up. No super cute Easter pic for her this year.

Cute! I was starting to think you forgot about your blog. I am super excited to see the rooms you have changed so please don't forget to update that too!
I forgot to mention my absolute favorite picture is that first one with Adin on the toilet with a reeses in his hand. Wouldn't that be great if we all got that?
Cooper is in the weird smile face for pictures too...but then so is Mike. So I guess it is not just age. Good luck with the potty training....uuugh.
I hear you about the wierd smiling stage. I finally banned both Tyler and Makenzie from smiling with their teeth. :) They were doing some serious cheesers. I wonder if it ever gets better. We just got family pictures done and it was a monkey show. Sounds like you and Brian are playing the "tag" game with the kids. That's miserable. Mike and I did that for a few years- we literally had one night a week where we would all be home at the same time when he worked at Honda. Hopefully it will get better when he goes to school. We miss you all!!
your kids look so cute in their easter clothes. Selling a house is miserable. Wait until you are showing it 3 times a week at a moment's notice and it constantly has to be spotless.
We did the "tag" thing too forever! and only had one car too. It will get better. To be honest, I sort of miss those days when jeff was in school.
congratulations on an easy potty training. that is awesome.
I'm serious about entering some of your pictures into some kind of competition. Cute kids! Did I see a set of floppy bunny ears on Adin's head in one of those pictures?
I miss you and the kids sooooooo much. So cute!!! Even Brian is cute.
