Six Wonderful Years!

Brian and I celebrated our six year anniversary on Friday the 11th. It is so crazy to me that it has been that long. We had lofty plans for a date that night. I checked with our sitter earlier in the week and told her that it would be a late night and that we probably wouldn't be back till midnight. When we picked her up that night, Brian checked to make sure everything was still okay with her staying late. She said "Oh, yea, I can stay really late, I just have to be home by 10:30." WHAT! So that botched our plans completely. We changed plans and headed to Maddox to get some dinner. On our way, I started getting some of the worst heartburn I have ever experienced. That made the food not very enjoyable, but the company was great. Then after dinner we went to Walmart and bought some heartburn medication and that was about it.

It was fun to reminisce together about the past six years and how much has happened. At dinner we both tried to pick out some of our most memorable days of marriage. I have been so lucky to be married to Brian. He is the perfect husband and I really couldn't picture a better place to be in life than right where we are.

I think anniversary's are made for mess-ups. Our first year, I got home way later than planned and we ate ham sandwiches and went to bed. #2 was spent in the hospital with my kidney stones. #3 went alright, but because of SLC traffic we didn't even arrive until 3 hours late! It's a good thing we have so many chances. (#4 was pretty good too)

I agree on the anniversary thing, it seems that something always goes wrong, our first four we always had a ton going on for so we just would grab lunch quickly in between, and then our fifth we both completely forgot until Kathy mentioned it to us two weeks later. it's our own fault for getting married during finals, because our anniversary is always during finals. Next year,no school! Sorry for the novel, I just felt the need to add my two cents.

I couldn't help but notice you don't have a link to our blog. Is it because we're so bad at updating it? What do we have to do to get on your "A-list?"

I also have noticed that I do not have a link on your list. Is this some personal insult? I don't have a very interesting life but I am still your sister!!!!
