We LOVE Fall! There are so many fun things going on and so many fun memories are made. I wanted to post some of our fall pictures from this year. There are quite a few, so enjoy. It always goes by so fast and I am sad that it is over. Christmas...here we come. Oh, and also I added a "Meg Sayings" part to our blog. Jeff and Amy have one on their blog and it is one of my favorite parts. Sorry I am copying. ;)
At the first of the month we took the kids to the local corn maze. They had a lot of other fun things for the kids ( a lot like Thanksgiving Point). They had a sandbox full of dried corn. Adin loves eating corn so he thought he was in heaven. I was fighting to keep it out of his mouth, but as you can see if you look closely, I didn't do such a great job.
This was a huge slide. Brian and I both bet that there was no way Meg would go down. Brian went up with her the first time and she told him that she wanted to go alone and pushed herself off. It was a fun slide.
The corn maze was crazy. Ater being in for about 20 minutes, both the kids were going crazy. Adin was crying. I was regretting the decision. Brian, by some miracle, found a spot where he could see the ginormous printout of a map of the cornmaze that they gave us. He studied it for about 3 minutes and then led us right out. I was so impressed.

This was a Sunday afternoon drive up a canyon in Ogden. All of us but Adin were wearing our pajamas. We missed this trip by a weekend because most of the leaves were just yellow. It was still prety though. We were lucky to return from this trip. I have never drove in a more dangerous canyon. It was so tight and windy. On the way down the sun was glaring so bad in our eyes that there were literally moments when we were coming around curves where we lost all visibility.
The annual Droubay Halloween party/pumpkin carving was a lot of fun. This is a picture of Meg smelling her pumpkin. Brian helped her carve a pumpkin and she was so proud of it.
We went to trick or treat at Brian's work the day before Halloween. We came back with way way too much candy. Both kids filled their pumpkins to the brim.

We went trick or treating in Brigham City. We didn't know which neighborhoods were okay in Ogden. Meg had so much fun because Chris and Jeni were there with their kids. Meg got to go with her "best friend" Gabi. They had fun going together. At first they were cute and said trick or treat. Then they started saying "Gimme Gimme" and grabbing handfuls of candy out of peoples dishes. Then they started complaining that they didn't want to go to anymore houses. It was pretty cute. We had lots of fun. Meg was obsessed with her flashlight. She didn't even want to carry her treat bucket.

These are just a few random pictures of the kids. I love getting really cute Halloween pictures of them. They think it is torture. Adin will not hold still for pictures. Our recent trip to get professional pictures done was a waste. There is not a single picture of him looking at the camera. In every picture we have he is crawling one direction or the other.
That is it for our fall pictures. We are sad that Halloween is over. November should be a lot of fun though too. Adin will be turning one on the 16th. That is sad for me. It has gone by way way too fast. I do love the birthday celebration though. Charisse will be getting married on the 21st...I better get working on her cake plans. Then there is Thanksgiving and day after Thanksgiving sales. We'll keep the blog updated as we go along.
